We are currently hiring a Transportation Dispatcher for our client a Transportation/Logistics company located in Milton.

Our client is located at James Snow Pkwy and Hwy 25 in Milton.

Day Shift Monday through Friday 6AM-2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour

Requirements

- Organize and confirm outbound orders

- Organize Driver Routes

- Customer Service skills dealing with client on order delays, issues

- Transportation and dispatch experience preferred

- Strong computer skills, professional email etiquette

- Willing to assist in warehouse when required

- Must Have Dispatch/Transportation Experience.

- Must have your own transportation - Company is not transit accessible

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the logistics and transportation of materials for the company
- Handle category management and procurement activities to ensure efficient supply chain operations
- Oversee e-commerce logistics, including order fulfillment, packaging, and delivery
- Manage materials inventory and ensure accurate tracking and documentation
- Utilize AS400 system for data entry, analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize logistics processes
- Coordinate with Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC) for international shipments
- Dispatch shipments and track their progress to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field
- Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and optimize logistics operations
- Knowledge of materials handling and management principles
- Familiarity with AS400 system or similar inventory management software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Note: Experience in dispatching is preferred but not required.
