Position: Bookkeeper


Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to work with our nursing home client in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or bookkeeping, with a passion for supporting the healthcare industry. This role involves managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Must be a motivated, team player, professional who is looking for a long term home.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and update accounting records and files

  • Analyze budgets and prepare financial reports

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets

  • Prepare invoices and handle payroll processing

  • Assist with budget preparation

  • Review and implement financial policies


Qualifications:



  • Stable Work History

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
