Are you a strategic HR leader ready to drive impactful change? Avid Associates is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Human Resources for our client, a service-based company in Hobe Sound, FL, to lead the organization through a dynamic period of growth and transformation. As we merge multiple regional entities from around the state, this key role will shape a unified approach to hiring, onboarding, and talent management.


Key Responsibilities:




  1. Strategic Leadership



    • Partner with the executive team to ensure HR strategies support overall business goals.

    • Develop and execute HR plans focused on sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and high employee engagement.

    • Drive initiatives that shape talent management, culture, and employee experience.




  2. Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning



    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding to maintain efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business needs.

    • Anticipate workforce demands, develop talent pipelines, and strengthen employer branding to attract and retain top talent.




  3. Employee Relations and Engagement



    • Build a positive, inclusive company culture that drives satisfaction and productivity.

    • Resolve employee concerns while maintaining adherence to legal and ethical standards.

    • Design and implement engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.







  4. Compensation and Benefits



    • Design competitive compensation structures, benefits packages, and reward programs.

    • Regularly review industry trends to ensure policies align with market standards.

    • Oversee benefits administration, ensuring it meets both employee needs and budget guidelines.




  5. Compliance and Risk Management



    • Ensure HR policies comply with current labor laws and regulations.

    • Proactively manage risks related to employment practices and data security.

    • Oversee workplace health, safety, and legal protocols to protect employees and the organization.




  6. HR Operations and Process Optimization



    • Implement and manage HR technologies (e.g., ATS) to improve efficiencies.

    • Analyze HR metrics to refine recruiting, retention, and satisfaction strategies.

    • Streamline and integrate HR practices across regions, especially through mergers and acquisitions.
