Job duties – Manage a global engineering team, providing leadership and hands-on coding contributions. Play a pivotal role in the architecture and development of software solutions, using JavaScript, .NET, AWS, Azure, GCP, Node.js, MS SQL Server, and Windows. Drive the technical vision and direction of the team, translating complex requirements into executable strategies. Oversee the implementation of new features, with a keen eye on performance, scalability, and security. Lead the full software development lifecycle, maintaining hands-on involvement in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Keep abreast of emerging technologies, integrating them into practices and encouraging innovation within the team. Mentor and support engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving. Enhance and enforce rigorous software development standards and best practices.

Education required and Experience required – Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, or a related technical field and 5 years of software engineering experience.

Background – 5 years of experience developing distributed web-based systems for enterprise. 5 years of experience in computer graphics and network data visualization. 5 years of experience profiling and optimizing performance in web-based systems. 5 years of experience developing user experience for enterprise software for complex data visualization and analysis. 5 years of experience in technical leadership guiding a distributed engineering team in system architecture, coding standards, and code optimization. Experience shipping and maintaining commercial products to Fortune 500 and governmental customers, using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, C#, ASP.NET, AWS, Kubernetes, and MS SQL Server. 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. 5 years working within agile development methodologies.

Rate of pay – $223,912 per year
