Atlas Air, Inc. seeks a Data Engineer (White Plains, NY).

Job Duties: Develop dynamic reporting models to support business and customer needs for real time, on-demand reporting; analyze the On Time Performance (“OTP”) of each business type and customer network through the development of custom report; track and trend airline schedule reliability through delay analysis and OTP measurement; take into account each department’s work flows and responsibilities (maintenance, flight operations, ground operations, sales and marketing and customer) and the key performance indicators for those workflows; ensure consensus within system operations leadership on basic reporting requirements; create and refine various reports and analyses capable of succinctly illustrating operational performance; collaborate with other departments, customers, and vendors to ensure adequate data feeds are available from existing or future sources; support the automated publication and distribution of work product to various departments, stations, regional and division managers, and customers; and create ad hoc operational reports for on-board reporting, special projects, or initiatives.

Job Requirements: Requires bachelor’s degree in business analytics or related (or foreign education equivalent), plus 1 year of data analytics experience. Also requires the following non-quantified skills/experiences: Tableau; Python; SQL; flight operations data; and aviation industry. The salary is $82,763 per year.
