TECH TRANSACTIONS & DATA PRIVACY (INCIDENT RESPONSE) ATTORNEY

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate to join their national Privacy Litigation team. This position is open to all offices, with a preference for Los Angeles.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.


• Active Bar Admission in the state for which the office you are applying is required.


• Privacy litigation preferred but not required.


• Significant litigation experience, including managing all elements of case work-up and trial preparation.


• Strong legal research and writing skills, with experience drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.


• Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and international privacy laws are a plus.


• Practical advice-giving ability, along with superior communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.


• Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to support and grow the national practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of tech transactions and data privacy incident response cases, from case work-up to trial preparation.


• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, complaints, and motions.


• Provide practical advice on sophisticated tech transactions and data privacy matters.


• Engage directly with clients and contribute to the development of case strategy.
