SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer for its client in San Antonio, TX. The person will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data systems that enable the organization to leverage data for strategic decision-making. The Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of data across various platforms while maintaining high standards of data quality and security. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, and storage.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data architecture and modeling strategies that align with business needs.

Implement and manage data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.

Monitor and validate data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving data discrepancies as necessary.

Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data stewardship.

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding data management best practices.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and processes.

Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate data insights and performance metrics to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related roles.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Ability to design and develop complex websites and integrate data across web pages and applications.

Experience in using new technologies to improve the website and data integration processes.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
