SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer for its client in San Antonio, TX(link removed) The person will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of cloud technologies while maintaining a secure and efficient infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, systems architecture, and infrastructure management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement scalable cloud architecture solutions that align with business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and identify requirements for cloud-based applications and services.

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards for cloud solutions.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.

Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.

Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and recommend improvements to cloud configurations.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

Prepare reports on cloud performance, security, and cost management for stakeholders.

Work closely with development teams to support the deployment and integration of cloud applications.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders regarding cloud technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or related roles.

An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Strong understanding of cloud services, architecture patterns, and deployment models.

Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices for cloud environments.

Skilled in designing website structures, and user interfaces, and integrating data across applications.
