Flash Oilfield Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Oilfield Dispatcher at our Kenedy, Texas location. Candidates should possess the following experience and qualifications. They are:

• Schedule Drivers and equipment according to Customer requests.


• Coordinate and communicate information to Drivers, as well as organizing and tracking relevant information according to Customer needs.


• Strong understanding of logistics and GPS fleet tracking software.


• Must have computer experience, understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook a plus.


• Knowledge of the service area preferred (Karnes and surrounding counties).


• Must be very organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. Must be able to multi-task and be a team player.


• Answer incoming phone calls and/or inquiries, maintaining and providing positive and effective service to Customers. Documents phone calls in call log.


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of Employees and Customers.


• Maintain viable relationship with Customers at all times to ensure that Customer’s needs and concerns are taken care of in a timely and consistent manner.


• Ensures that critical information is effectively communicated to appropriate Manager or other staff.


• Keep proper record of all jobs in dispatch log according to established Company guidelines. Also keep record of any jobs turned down due to lack of available equipment or personnel.


• Ensure DOT hours of service compliance for all Drivers.


• Track Driver daily attendance and maintain Driver time cards.


• Responsible for collecting and pricing field tickets on a daily basis.


• Responsible for collecting Drivers’ time sheets.


• Distribute pre-numbered ticket books to Drivers as needed and maintain log.


• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights and weekends.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.


• Have the ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English.


• Ability to work variable schedules/shifts and long hours.


• Must have a valid TX Drivers License.


• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.
