IT Hardware Asset Management Analyst

Winchester, VA

Duration : 2 plus years ongoing

 

familiar with IT and Accounting at basic levels.

Candidate will need to understand key terms in both industries to keep the burden of education and training off. ITAM (IT Asset Management) team only have to teach processes and how to use our asset management tools, e.g. HPAM/ServiceNow.

They will be a ITAM Hardware Analyst so they will need to be familiar, via education, and or have experience with the following: chassis, blade, server, CPU, Cloud versus On Premises, inventory, performing an inventory, leased assets, depreciation, Workstation vs. Monitor, scanner knowledge a plus, memory and other components.

The candidate will concentrate on managing Receiving and Asset tagging and needs to be a self-starter and motivated to work with both Supply/Plant Property and warehouse receiving employees as well as technical data center IT employees.

The ideal skill set will include moderate-to-extensive MS Excel and data entry experience.

Experience with performing searches/filtering/querying is also a must. They will need to know Microsoft Office tools for reporting.
