I’m seeking someone with a Degree in Accounting, with at least 3 years’ of experience working in a public accounting firm. This person will manage audit staff assigned to clients and review work daily and will be the lead for engagements and communicate important information to the audit staff, managers, partners, and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with excellent communication and the ability to solve problems while working under pressure to meet deadlines. She/he will interview clients, gathering documents needed for the audit, and delegate the sections to the audit team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Research accounting issues related to the client and learn their internal procedures
- Prepare the initial draft of the audit report
- Performing audits and reviews for nonprofits organizations, for-profit entities, and employee benefit plans for various industries
- Prepare Form 990 for nonprofit organizations
Manage the audit fieldwork to assure the audit is completed within a scheduled timeframe
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with CCH Accounting Research Manager, PFX Engagement, and PPC is a HUGE plus
- Post-COVID, 90% of the time will be at a client’s office.
