Role: EDI Analyst

Location: Saint Joseph, MI

Job type: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include EDI implementation, configuration, testing, trouble-shooting, and ongoing support of EDI interfaces with related applications.


• This position also evaluates and implements enhancement and reconfiguration of EDI systems, services, and related processes.


• Position will have a deep involvement in our Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and other applications, processes, and procedures as related to EDI functions.


• EDI administration including monitoring of inbound and outbound document and file flows, problem identification and resolution, ensuring regular reliable communication of data into and out of our WMS, TMS and other applications.


• Ability to implement, maintain and enhance mappings between EDI transactions and XML, flat-file, and other formats independently or in collaboration with inside and outside resources.


• Handle maintenance and setup of VAN, FTP and AS2 connections and security certificates.


• Clearly document EDI translations, configurations, and processes.


• Create, update, and maintain EDI specification documents.


• Participation in other software/system testing and upgrades related to EDI processes.


• Participate in meetings and collaboration to implement, enhance, or decommission EDI trading partners and EDI document exchanges and processing.

Required experience/Education:

• BS/BA degree, EDI certifications, and/or equivalent combination of formal training and progressive experience.


• Minimum 3 years of proven experience configuring and supporting EDI systems, implementations, topics and projects.


• Thorough understanding of EDI 943/944, 940/945, 846, 856, 947, 997 transactions.


• Thorough understanding of EDI 204, 214 and 990 transactions.


• Knowledge of Tie Kinetix eVision v7, Tie Integrator IDE v7, and SpEDI*map 2.0 r3 software preferred.


• Knowledge of CLEO Lexicom 5.4 and Microsoft Windows FTP communications software preferred.


• Proven application and process/procedure troubleshooting skills required.


• Experience with data analysis and report writing.
