Are you passionate about working in an environment where you would be exposed to researching and developing new life saving devices? Then Eisen has just the project for you. We are developing new medical devices in response to COVID-19. Our mission is to offer low-cost, readily manufacturable medical devices to support field hospitals.
Eisen is hiring software interns to help with this project. You will be supporting our engineering, research, and management team. Your day to day work may include:
- Programming GUI interfaces
- Programming Communication Protocols
- Creating and implementing test plans
- Developing time lines and specifications for product development
You will need good systems programming skills, strong technical writing ability, and be passionate about designing new applications. If this is something you would enjoy, we believe we can offer you the challenge and career development that will help you to attain your personal goals.
Required:
- Work on-site in Lansing, Michigan
- Strong programming skills using C++
- Strong skill set in one or more of these platforms: Linux, Windows Embedded, RTOS
- Senior or recently graduated from Computer Science Bachelors program, Masters, or PhD
Preferred background in any of these technologies (though not required):
- Designing real-time application structure
- Knowledge of deploying software on different operating systems
- GUI programming for micro controllers
- Writing device controllers, or communication protocols
- Working towards a Masters or PhD program in computer science or electronics
