THE ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING IN THE UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF INDIO’S APARTMENT COMMUNITY. THE ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IS VERY MOTIVATED TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO THE COMPLEX ISSUES AND HAS AN EYE FOR DETAIL. MOST OF ALL, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS ENJOY THE WORK THEY DO AND CONTINUOUSLY HELP CREATE THE RESIDENT EXPERIENCE.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO): 



•    Electrical repairs on items such as appliances, xtures, switches and outlets, etc. 

•    Plumbing work, such as clearing drain stoppages, replacing ttings and faucets, etc. 

•    Replace broken tile, screens, garbage disposals, xtures, appliances, blinds, and locks 

•    Assisting with maintaining and meeting all building re and safety regulation requirements 

•    Conducts all business in accordance with company policies/procedures, Fair Housing, and all other laws pertaining to housing 

•    Working eciently to meet deadlines for residents’ 100% satisfaction 

•    Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, work-in-progress, etc. 

•    On-call support and weekends are a requirement 





REQUIREMENTS

•    EPA Certication

•    Ability to use power tools 

•    Communication (Written follow-up, ability to explain solutions to resident issues, etc.) 

•    Organization (Keeping track of work orders and keys) 

•    Ability to multitask (Handle and prioritize everyday work orders and emergencies) 

•    Personality Traits 

•    Friendly (Willing to assist residents in need) 

•    Caring (Empathetic to resident problems) 

•    Ownership (Takes responsibility and pride in their work)

•    Self-Motivated (Able to work/troubleshoot independently)
