UX Writer I



Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: 6 months



Description:

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

- Work with partner teams (e.g. UX, product, marketing, policy, legal) to ensure a cohesive content strategy, style guidelines and terminology/word lists for consistent language

- Write clear, simple, user friendly UI text for end-to-end experiences

- Focus on content strategies that increase usability through navigation, labels, error messaging, and other elements of the end to end customer experience



Mandatory Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field 4 years of relevant experience on user-focused writing, including work in hardware, software, marketing, digital agency, documentation or journalism Experience shaping content for projects, with a portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines



Desired Preferred Skills:

Experience working on localization and accessibility efforts

Experience writing microcopy for mobile applications.
