CycleStar Job Description

Equal parts educator, DJ, drill sergeant, motivator and friend.  Our CycleStar Instructor’s rides help our riders improve performance, reach goals and change lives- one ride at a time. They bring incomparable energy, training, enthusiasm and charisma to each and every ride.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create playlists following our 12-song sequence to perform in your scheduled classes


• Must follow our best practices as outlined in the CycleStar Training Manual


• Promote your classes on social media at least 3 times per week


• Arrive 30 minutes prior to each class and stay until all riders have left the community room area


• Make sure all new riders are introduced to the bike and are correctly adjusted on their bike


• Take at least 2 classes a month at your studio with other CycleStars


• Check in on the Facebook CycleStar forum weekly to review new video content

Requirements:

• Skills: Must be able to pass the initial audition and CycleBar bootcamp in order to teach at CycleBar


• Passion: for health, wellness and fitness


• Attitude: Must have a positive demeanor and fit in with our “hugs and high fives” culture


• Character: Aptitude to learn, leads by example, enjoys being part of a team.


• Personality: Outgoing, friendly, people oriented, love for fitness and music!


• Confidence: The ability to lead 50 people on the best ride they’ve ever had, every time the candidate is on the podium.


• Practice: Train like any professional athlete would and be open to continuing to learn as the brand evolves.


• Trust: Believe in us and our executive leaders that they’ve put in the time, money and research into each of our ride types and how to engage with riders on and off the bike.


• Vulnerability: CycleStars should be able to connect with each and every rider. It’s ok to be vulnerable on the podium. You’re only human and it is a part of the experience that what you’re preaching up there is something people can resonate with.


• Work Experience: Candidates should display knowledge of rhythmic cycling and general fitness. While it is not a requirement to have prior instructor experience at a rhythmic studio, or hold a fitness certification, it will assist in your overall talent.
