We are currently seeking a Senior Developer to work on various .NET projects within the Division of Medicaid Systems. These projects are developed using some of the latest tools and technologies including Visual Studio 2015/2017, .NET Framework 4.7, MVC, Web API, ASP.NET Forms, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework 6.0 and SQL 2016/2017. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, result-oriented, and experienced in the development of large web based solutions using .NET technology.
Additionally, a candidate should have good communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Development Product suites.
Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of business needs and translate those needs into technological systems, design specifications, and solutions.
Collaborate with associates to analyze, design, develop, implement and integrate moderate- to highly-complex business systems, which optimize business outcomes.
Provide ongoing software support and issue resolution, and develop process improvements.
Build standards-driven, scalable, secure dynamic portals for application-based information delivery.
Partner with other business areas to understand application requirements and develop programming specifications to be provided to development staff.
Develop enhancements, resolve issues, coordinate testing of statement releases and oversee regular production efforts.
Required Experience / Skills:
6+ years' experience as a Software Developer.
Within the past 2 years, have hands-on experience with .NET 4.7 Frameworks, including visual studio 2015 or 2017, C#, ASP.NET 4.7 (Web Forms and/or MVC), Web API 2.0, VB.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ and (link removed).
With-in the past 2 years, have hands-on experience with UI/UX frameworks like Bootstrap 3.3, JQueryUI, JavaScript, JQuery Validators, HTML 5, CSS 3.0, XML, JSON, and Dependency Injection that work consistently work across popular browsers.
Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), WCF and Web Services.
Experience writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Experience in Data structure and Database design (SQL): data normalization, tables, stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, triggers, indexes, query normalization, joins, cursors, transaction handling and error handling.
Experience working with Team Foundation Server 2015/2018/2019 for SDLC using agile (SCRUM).
