The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for performing duties associated with the migration and deployment of Microsoft Office 365. The analyst will receive, prioritize, document and actively resolve end-user help tickets as well as troubleshoot Operating System and application issues. The analyst will be required to perform in-house repairs of laptop and desktop computers, computer imaging, automated package deployment and inventory. Other responsibilities for this position include:
- Perform installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software
- Analyze and resolve end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues which could be more complex in nature
- Configure/reconfigure hardware, including workstations and printers including new office set up or acquisition work
- Image computers appropriately upon arrival or as deemed necessary.
- Work closely with other groups within the IT Department or vendors to find solutions to end-user issues or problems
- Create and maintain accurate and consistent records of all calls and customer engagements
- Log, monitor, and report the progress of problem resolution and advise users on status of requests
- Support Corporate policies, procedures and best practices pertinent to Window Servers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Complete assigned projects in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor and track IT assets, inventory and warranty periods of machines
- Maintain a prompt and consistent work schedule as directed by management
- Perform other projects and assignments as assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company
It’s a contract to hire (paying $18-$24/hr.). Need solid ticketing support experience and precious experience with a Windows 10 rollout.
