Director Site Reliability Engineering (Multiple Positions), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc., Chicago, IL. Build next generation Risk Systems working with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Solution Architect. Help monitor all customer facing environments. Resolve ongoing critical issues evaluating the problem, proposing, and implementing resolutions, and partnering. Influence a robust and scalable architecture between systems in the Risk Systems domain. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, design, and code reviews. Drive the development of new technologies to bring new innovative products and applications to market. Build the observability metrics for deriving SLAs and SLOs. Develop technical standards development methodologies, deployment process and test automation solutions to resolve performance within the specified SLAs.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and seven (7) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:

● Programming Languages such as Java, C, or Python;
● SQL and Database Management Systems such as Oracle, Postgres, MYSQL, Redis, or Cassandra;
● Using DevSecOps Tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Ansible, CHEF, or GoLang in a cloud environment;
● Building Risk Systems; and
● Working in Financial Services.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

● Streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Google PubSub.

Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
