Senior Product Manager, Hardware - WHOOP, Inc. (Boston, MA): Define, develop, and launch the next generation of WHOOP hardware experiences, in close partnership with the Product and Hardware Teams. Duties include:

 

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for new WHOOP hardware products, and lead

overall product vision around wearability.

  • Work with the Design Team to create product specifications and design briefs that capture the user experience and design requirements.
  • Ensure new products meet the same high standards of quality and user experience as WHOOP wearable.
  • Support and sustain the current generation of wearables by prioritizing and addressing issues identified in the field or through members’ feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Hardware Engineering, Data Science, and Software Engineering Team by planning, scheduling and monitoring project progress to ensure product designs are feasible and meet technical specifications.
  • Identify, research and analyze market opportunities, customer needs, and trends to inform product development decisions.

 

Eligible for our hybrid work policy of 3 days/week working in Boston Headquarters office and 2 days/week remote.

 

Requirements

 

Master’s Degree in Engineering Management or closely related field, plus 5 years’ experience in a role overseeing product development for consumer-focused electromechanical products across the product life cycle.

 

Experience, which may have been gained concurrently with primary requirement above, must

include:

 

 5 years of experience in:

 

·        Managing product development across cross-functional hardware engineering teams including: firmware, embedded, signal processing, electrical and mechanical.

·        Developing and designing product specifications and design requirements for new or sustaining products.

·        Streamlining product workflows through UX/UI design mapping and storyboarding.

·        Working with the following programs: Teamwork, SolidWorks, Figma, Lucid, Confluence, and Jira.

 

2 years of experience as a Product Manager for any Hardware Product.
