RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Production Technician in Charleston, SC(link removed) This is a Full-Time, Direct-Hire, Onsite assignment with our client. 

Overview of YOUR role as a Production Technician:
The Production Technician is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. The position requires technical knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and ability to perform minor maintenance. Use Good Manufacturing Practices and problem-solving techniques in a fast-paced environment.   

As a Production Technician YOU will:

• Critical thinking skills related to production equipment used for automated packaging, sorting, washing, cutting, taping, labeling, counting, and the assembly of CP products
• Work with robotics, vision systems and PLC/HMI controls
• Meet and/or exceed production metric standards while maintaining a focus on quality
• Monitor systems and troubleshoot equipment used for precision weighing
• Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean and orderly condition
• A vision for safety and the ability to implement a high level of 5S
• Perform related equipment maintenance duties on automated systems / robotics as required by supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned

YOU are the ideal Production Technician candidate if you have:

• 3 or more years of lean manufacturing and/or robotics experience preferred.
• Experience in robotics and manufacturing is preferred 

SCHEDULE:

• You can choose your schedule as long as you work Saturdays and Sundays. We’re looking for someone available to work either a 4x10 or 5x8 schedule (with Saturdays and Sundays being required).
