Salesforce Inc. seeks AMTS Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Collaborate with the team members and architects on design and implementation of the architecture of the core-on-git project. Review code and verify correct functionality of features written by other team members. Analyze and debug existing code when bugs occur, or better performance and scalability is required. Develop new features for the core-on-git project that are high quality, performant, secure, and scalable using Java, Python, and BASH. Write unit, functional, and integration tests for core-on-git to ensure quality and prevent regressions. Maintain existing functionality. Write alerts in our Telemetry/Monitoring system using SQL, monitor performance of the core-on-git project and call out potential concerns or trends. Monitor the support slack channel and help the users with on-boarding and if they run into any issues using core-on-git. Write code that can be easily understood by others with an eye towards clarity and maintainability. Collaborate with other teams to integrate new features and processes. Continuously release improved code and new features to our existing customers and help on-board new customers. Take operational ownership of services delivered to production. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and 3 months of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Salary: $155,605.00 - $161,500.00 per annum.
