Primary Responsibilities: 1. Clinical Supervision and Management: a. Provide supervision and consultation to all clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support staff. b. Oversee the assignment and review of client cases to ensure appropriate and effective treatment plans. c. Conduct regular staff meetings and peer review sessions to discuss client care and improve service delivery.
2. Program Development and Implementation: a. Develop and expand mental health programs and services to meet the needs of the community. b. Ensure that all clinical programs adhere to ethical and professional standards. c. Implement evidence-based practices and innovative treatment approaches.
3. Administrative Duties: a. Administer fiscal operations, including budget planning, expenditure authorization, and financial reporting. b. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with state and federal laws. c. Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance: a. Monitor the overall quality and effectiveness of mental health programs. b. Ensure compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and standards. c. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of clinical services.
5. Staff Development: a. Identify and address clinical staff development needs. b. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities. c. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
6. Client and Community Relations: a. Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and clinical staff. b. Provide recommendations to social services or community agencies regarding client care. Qualifications: 1. Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. 2. Licensure: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent. 3. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Skills: 1. Experience working in racial, culturally and socio-economically diverse communities 2. Strong leadership and organizational skills. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 4. Proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment planning. 5. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Work Environment: 1. The Clinical Director will work in a mental health center setting, with occasional travel to community meetings and outreach events. 2. This role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of clients and staff.
This is a part time position paying $28.00 per hr. for a total of 15 hrs. wkly.
