We are looking to add a HVAC (Thermal) Junior Technician who is responsible for assisting other technicians with daily responsibilities associated with servicing our Commercial/Industrial HVAC customers. This Tech will learn more about Critical Infrastructure Data Centers and precision cooling experience and highly specialized HVAC/refrigeration equipment to service customer contracts.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Assist Thermal technician and have ability to learn how to perform standard Preventative Maintenance duties on Commercial/Industrial HVAC Equipment Assist technician and have ability to learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, change out compressors, failed parts, etc. on all HVAC equipment Has some understanding through classes of HVAC systems including split systems, DX systems, glycol, controls, etc. Has some knowledge of how to assist with solder, braze refrigerant lines, water lines, etc. Communicates daily with dispatcher and technicians on reporting job by job information about equipment ID, completed jobs, problems encountered, assistance needed with repairs Has ability to learn to read and interpret schematics and control circuits Interfaces with the customer on a professional basis and presents DVL in a positive light Properly handles refrigerant, reclaim machine, vacuum pump, micron gauge and other essential tools Works in a safe manner. Follows industry standard safety practices including knowledge of MSDS, tool safety, equipment safety and ladder safety guidelines Safely and properly operates and maintains company vehicle and learns how to maintain a truck inventory Establish relationships with other technicians to learn from them to be able to troubleshoot customer tickets Satisfactory complete HVAC Training classes as required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
One-year certificate from college or trade school Universal Refrigerant Certification required Ability to hookup a gauge set to equipment to troubleshoot refrigeration issues Ability to utilize a multi-meter in troubleshooting electrical systems Letter of recommendation from a college instructor Basic in computer skills, experience in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Valid drivers license Excellent customer service skills Perform overtime duties when required COMPETENCIES YOU SHOULD HAVE
Communication Customer Service Job Knowledge Quality Technical Skills The pay range is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. or higher based on relevant experience plus bonus, laptop and iPhone.
