Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying potential issues. The role will require close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to meet quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Participate in Agile sprint planning and contribute to test effort estimation and test planning.
Perform comprehensive testing (functional, regression, integration, and performance) to ensure software meets business and technical specifications.
Document, track, and report defects and inconsistencies within testing environments using tools like JIRA or other bug-tracking software.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to test execution, working closely with the development team to verify bug fixes.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
Ensure continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Review and contribute to technical documentation including test plans, release notes, and user guides.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvements in the testing process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and Experience in related field.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing processes, and Agile frameworks.
Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JUnit).
Experience in API testing, UI testing, and performance/load testing.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Knowledge of security testing and performance benchmarking.
QA certification (ISTQB or similar) is a plus.
