Plan, select and purchase the range, mix and quantity of merchandise according to OTB, Option Plan, Styling Brief, trends and customer demands; negotiate cost price to achieve and exceed target margins; develop a seasonal range plan leveraging knowledge of the market, competitors, current and emerging trends, and analysis of market research/product information; actively seek out the newest products and trends in jewelry and hair accessories; analyze best and worst sellers to aid in future decision making; weekly review of best sellers and booking product performance at the set benchmark; provide timely updates and reports on quality control issues, late deliveries and development/sampling issues to ensure meeting final sign-off and in-store delivery dates; and respond timely to supplier/vendor correspondence.
