Responsible for monitoring and reporting product and process compliance to customer requirements for software and systems development processes and products. Create and maintain Product & Process Assurance (P&PA) procedures, plans, schedules in compliance with customer requirements, and regularly report P&PA activity and status to management. Investigate and report non-compliance to customer requirements and processes. Prepare escalation of problem reports as needed to ensure proper resolution of product and process problems. Plan and establish schedules for own work and follow up performance against estimates. Provide technical or administrative consultation or advice to peers or the immediate manager in the department or on projects. Witness and document testing and design reviews of products and systems performed by staff. Participate in and document project milestones reviews for assigned tasks. Review technical approaches or project designs with staff input. Follow up regularly with internal staff to track and report progress on various monitored tasks. Convey technical information and interface with internal and external customers. Conduct research and define procedures for engineering and process issues. Responsible for project planning while addressing external/internal dependencies and associated logistics across multiple functions. Develop solutions to clearly defined problems of moderate to diverse scope.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related degree discipline followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the specialty field.
