Job Description
XXX Hospital's Emergency Department is currently looking for a Registered Nurse with a dedication to
excellence in patient care and a drive to make a difference in critical healthcare situations.
The Emergency Department (ED) at XXX Hospital is composed of a 73-bed unit and consists of 7 care centers
within the unit, which include: Urgent Care Center, Chest Pain Evaluation Center, Emergent Care Center, Level
II-Trauma Center, Pediatric Center, Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU), and an Observation Center.

patients.
XXX Hospital is the largest community hospital in Maryland consisting of 483-licensed beds that
offers training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an
advisor and, resource for patients and their families.

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing - BSN or higher is required upon start date
Current Maryland Registered Nurse License or Compact Licensure (in accordance with current rules)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
ACLS within 6 months of hire
