Job Position: Web Development Technical Lead


Job Duties: The Web Development Technical Lead is to be responsible for leading and developing (link removed) in innovative, reusable web-based tools to integrate closely with our website, line of air purifier products and support company digital marketing efforts. This position will be a subject matter expert in best practices, standard concepts, and procedures for designing and creating innovative and interactive web applications using the latest standards, testing them on various devices, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the end-user. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Stays abreast of best practices, standards and industry changes in software and hardware upgrades and regularly informs manager; Serve as primary technical advisor to management and provide programming perspective on requirements; Provide technical leadership & mentorship to members of the Development Team; Oversee & lead all development efforts of the strategic features of IQAir websites; Determine and initiate opportunities to optimize the site architecture to reach SEO traffic targets; Work with colleagues, Project Managers and Product Owners to support various marketing automation initiatives (i.e.,auto-mailer, integration with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.); Work with colleagues and Project Managers to build and refine functionality for web applications; Develop innovative, reusable Web-based tools for our line of air purifier products; Work closely with other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables; Produce project estimates during R&D process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total number of development hours required, etc; Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/HTML 5 themes; Determine appropriate architecture, other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to R&D; Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays. Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients; Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities; Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation; Attend meetings during the R&D process and during development; Other projects as assigned. Must be able to complete pre-employment background and drug screen.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another closely related field. 3 years of experience in job offered or another closely related and 1 year of management experience.
