Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of transportation vehicles and equipment. Negotiate contracts with transportation service providers such as carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in transportation operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. Collect and analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and manage transportation budgets, including expenses for personnel, equipment, fuel, maintenance, and other operational costs.

Requires at least two years of experience as operations manager working in logistics for freight transportation companies.
