POSITION: Interior Designer
LOCATION: Palm Beach, FL
We are a boutique interior design firm, with an emphasis on high-end renovations and new construction. We handle a range of projects, with various sized homes as well as differing styles that reflect our clients personalities. Our office is fast-paced and requires a lot of flexibility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects in conjunction with the principal designer and each client. This person must have a strong ability to focus as they will monitor and present project updates to the designer, from conception to completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Principle of firm on design projects, and work directly with office staff throughout the course of each project, attend client meetings, maintain client correspondence, identify and manage scope of work for each client, prepare timelines and estimates as needed
- Prepare storyboards and client presentations
- Research products, confirm specifications and create purchase orders/client proposals
- Create FF&E schedules and track items; manage project deadlines
- Coordinate project installations, which may include local shopping and misc. errands
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 3-7 years of residential interior design experience (salary dependent on experience/skillset)
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint (our office is Mac-based)
- Strong research capabilities (sourcing new vendors and suppliers)
- CAD experience required
- Proficiency with architectural plans/documents and general construction knowledge required
