Human Resources Manager Overview:
Implement HR strategy at a local level to include; performance management, talent acquisition and management, policy and practice, employee relations, coaching, and organizational development.
Human Resources Manager Job Duties:
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; directing the processing of benefit claims to Corporate HR;
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years HR practical experience in a high-volume 24X7 manufacturing environment, or similar in California
- Corporate training experience helpful
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and Mandarin language a must.
- Strong MS Office skills are required
- Must be highly flexible and capable of handling multiple and shifting priorities
- Must enjoy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Possess a sense of urgency and persistence
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to "think outside the box"
- Must be self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize work
- Natural coaching skills must
- Ability to work independently and employ effective organizational, project and time management skills
