Aspen Personnel Services has been hired to find a Construction Planning Manager for a well respected construction company in Spokane, WA.


Job Responsibilities:


The selected individual will lead preconstruction efforts on multiple projects, ensuring the strategy, approach, and final deliverables are effectively communicated and executed. Key responsibilities include:



  • Overseeing preconstruction strategies and managing project teams.

  • Maintaining accountability while fostering positive relationships among team members and with clients.

  • Organizing and delegating tasks within the preconstruction team and following up on progress.

  • Facilitating communication between owners, design teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Providing expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and risk identification.

  • Engaging with trade partners and analyzing bids to make award recommendations.

  • Utilizing Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.

  • Managing multiple projects at different stages, ensuring accurate estimates, timelines, and resources.

Qualifications:



  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, preconstruction, or estimating.

  • Expertise in GMP and lump sum estimates.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, on-screen take-off, and scheduling software.

  • Experience with DESTINI Estimator software is a plus.


Compensation and Benefits:



  • Salary Range: $115,000 to $146,000.

  • Annual discretionary bonus based on performance.

  • Vehicle allowance and relocation assistance available.
