Job Overview


PurpleTutor is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a passion for education and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children. This is a full-time position with a junior level of experience requirement (1 to 3 years) and will be based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Familiarity with the education industry is a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, educational institutions, and parents
  • Coordinate and conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of our solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market conditions
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance
