Opportunity Highlights
Provide on-campus teaching in the specialty of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, creating and managing curriculum in courses including clinical medicine, procedural skills, and clinical simulations
Oversee medical student education by the clinical faculty within the discipline
Collaborate with faculty and leadership across VCOM campuses to ensure a common, quality curriculum is maintained across campuses
Serve as an individual advisor to students, support the student specialty organization, and assist those who choose to pursue OMM residencies
Support the College by serving on standing committees and promotion boards
Participate in the student interview process
Play a key role in recruiting and collaborating with top OMM talent to grow and sustain a seasoned faculty team
Engage in research and scholarly activities

Position Requirements
Education: A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and completion of a residency or fellowship with board eligibility/certification in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM)
Licensure: Ability to obtain unrestricted state medical license
Work Experience: Clinical practice experience in OMM required; Experience with the education of medical students and/or residents in an academic setting; Demonstrated ability in leadership to achieve proficiency in academics
