Location: Henderson, WA
Work hours: Day shift 6.30am 3pm with regular overtime

JOB ROLE
-Responsible for providing mechanical maintenance services within the naval/commercial ship repair & industrial sectors
-Be suitably experienced with the execution of site and workshop-based duties.
-Familiar with maintenance and repair to gearboxes, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, conveyor components, compressors, diesel engines, bearing fitment etc.
-Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
-Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate action.
-The achievement of targets in the areas of safety, environment, quality and production thereby ensuring the continuing viability of naval repair projects.

-Possess a commitment to work as a team player.
-Be adaptable to a changing environment.
-Can effectively liaise at all levels and across functional boundaries.
-Can work effectively with minimal supervision and with a high degree of autonomy
-Be prepared to work mid-week and weekend overtime at short notice if required.

REQUIREMENTS
-White Card (CSAT)
-Current WA Drivers License
-Mechanical Trade Certification
-Demonstrate fitness for Work and possess the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Marine defence and commercial experience.
-Rigger/dogging recognized qualification.
-Forklift Ticket
-Confined Space
-Working at Heights
-Elevated Work Platform.
