The schedule is Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM.

We are seeking a Service/Test Technician for a testing systems/equipment manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This role is responsible for setting up, conducting, and troubleshooting tests on testing equipment, with a focus on refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems and ensuring equipment quality and performance.

Responsibilities:
-Starting up, troubleshooting, and performing tests on our standard product line, including the calibration and operation of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems
-Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with systems, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure proper functionality
-Perform basic final assembly work
-Ensure products meet quality and performance standards
-Implement and improve procedures
-Gather and document pertinent data on the performance of products and prototypes
-Maintain standards for product testing and inspection as part of the overall quality standard
-Participate in a team environment to develop and design new and existing products
-Implement and participate in Lean and 5S processes and projects
Working closely with the engineering and quality teams to improve overall product quality.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Previous experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration and electrical systems
-Competent with computers including Google suites preferred
-Previous experience in a test or service technician role, preferably in a manufacturing or commercial environment preferred
-Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
-Knowledge of Lean methodologies preferred
-Knowledge of test standards (ASTM, IEC, ISO, MIL-STD) preferred
