Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Metal Power Plant. This is a full-time position based in Goa Velha, Goa, India. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a metal power plant
• Strong knowledge of power plant equipment and machinery
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions
• Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of the Metal Power Plant equipment to identify and resolve any maintenance issues
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Metal Power Plant
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to mitigate the risk of breakdowns and equipment failures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment history, repairs, and inspections
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and power plant operations
