Data Centre Operations Specialist in ITC Infotech Bengaluru.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data center infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and availability. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data center operations and management.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage systems, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with data center monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or equivalent, are preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the data center operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of the data center infrastructure.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or potential risks to the data center operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data center infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and optimize data center performance by conducting regular capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data center operations, including standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, including procurement of equipment and services.
• Implement and enforce data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data center technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed.
