Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Manager TPL Technology Performance Level with expertise in Turbo Machinery Calculation at our MAN Energy Solutions India Pvt Ltd Bengaluru office. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technology performance of turbo machinery and ensuring optimal efficiency. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The successful candidate will have a senior level of experience with 7 to 9 years in this field.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Senior level experience of 7 to 9 years in turbo machinery calculation
- Strong knowledge of turbo machinery performance analysis
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Roles and Responsibilities
Experience with turbo machinery in thermodynamic design & calculation Essential Skills (Must to have) Experience 7 - 9 yrs in turbo machinery calculation (steam turbine, gas turbine or compressor) Good understanding of thermodynamics and turbo machinery in general Experience in working with water-steam cycle design tools (e.g. Ebsilon) In Depth understanding of mechanics and design of steam turbines components (blading, casing, rotor, etc) In Depth understanding of Design and optimization of heat and mass balance models for complex power generation systems Thermodynamic selection of frame and design of complete steam path with mechanical checks Performing detailed rotor dynamics calculation of project train for bearing and coupling selection and verifying train for free vibration Leading project as a TPL and support other functional team members Coordinating and conducting design review of projects Bid / Sales support for technical bid evaluation Checking and verification of project output from junior team Value engineering and new product development Coordination with other departments for related to purchase, assembly and service Knowledge in relevant standards applicable in design IEC, API, PT6, NEMA etc
