Marketing Manager - Brand Advertising Department - Consumer Group (CG) Location - Hybrid in San Diego, CA or San Francisco, CA. Local candidates only. Job Description As a Marketing Manager for the Brand Advertising team, you will play a crucial role in driving advertising for multi-million dollar brand campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and executing brand advertising campaigns across various channels, including TV, audio, digital, and non-traditional media. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who can communicate effectively and manage projects with precision. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies, ensuring that campaigns meet all deadlines, stay within scope, and achieve desired outcomes. You will assist in the creative production process, including script development, film shoots, and asset management. Collaboration across teams is key, as you will facilitate internal communications, manage media specs, and oversee the quality assurance of creative materials. Your role will impact both the company's brand presence and its consumer engagement strategies. Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
- Manage project timelines, balancing work scope with team capacities.
- Collect critical deliverable dates and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Lead and organize project meetings, setting clear objectives and documenting outcomes.
- Oversee creative production, including script development, film shoots, and asset management.
- Facilitate internal circulation of campaign elements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Organize media specs and channel requirements for cross-channel deliverables.
- Ensure all creative materials meet brand and legal guidelines.
- Manage claims substantiation and network clearance for TV commercials.
- Initiate purchase orders and manage project estimates and invoices for billing reconciliation.
Required Experience/Skills
- Experience managing national brand campaigns across TV, audio, digital, and non-traditional media.
- Strong strategic judgment, business acumen, and creative instincts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with consumer packaged goods or technology consumer goods.
- Familiarity with Inter-Agency Teams (IAT).
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
