Site Safety Lead - What You Will Do

This position will be primarily responsible for onsite safety efforts for Catapult Solutions Group's customer site, as well as administration and execution of Catapult Solutions Group's ES&H Programs as contracted by scope. The Site Safety Lead will report and work daily with the Safety/Project Manager/Construction Managers, and the General Contractor. The role will also report to Catapult Solutions Group's Safety department for that region as scheduled but will ultimately be responsible to the Corporate ES&H Manager.



A Typical Day at Catapult Solutions Group


  • Promote Catapult Solutions Group's award-winning “Safety Culture” and "Standards."
  • Observe safe work practices and present opportunities for improvement. Mentor employees and encourage their safe work practices, following Stop Work Authority.
  • Generate, observe, inspect, and close job permits, audits, toolboxes, work safe observations, and orientations.
  • Perform health and safety program auditing.
  • Assist in incident investigations and emergency response.
  • Attend safety meetings and convey information to the project team and corporate.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.



The Basic Requirements


  • OSHA 30 completed within the last three years and an OSHA 500 / 502 valid certificate of completion
    OR one of the following: CHST, OHST, STS, CSP, ASP, GSP designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professional.
  • Three to five years’ experience in a semiconductor or data center environment, electrical safety around facility-critical infrastructure construction.
  • Able to pass a seven-year background check.
  • Experience working with a large subcontractor force.
  • Exhibit integrity, flexibility, initiative, and adherence to company policies and programs always.
  • Clear and concise communications, both written and oral.
  • Ability to effectively work at all levels or divisions on-site, in meetings, and within Catapult Solutions Group(link removed)>
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and emails.
  • Travel as needed to field offices and remote locations.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in an ES&H related field.



Details:


  • Project Length: ASAP, up to 3 years
  • Pay Range: $60-70K/year
  • Per Diem: Up to $700/week
  • Incentives: Determined on-site
  • Work Load: 60/60/50 schedule
  • Compliance: Must have OSHA 30
