Regional International Sales Manager, Ingredients Location: US-CA-Newman Jobcode: JOB-4017 Email Job

Do you have an industrial ingredient sales background… with a history of selling into international markets such as Mexico & Central America!? We are working with an international food manufacturer that is looking for someone to manage existing accounts and develop new business in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand the company’s market share in various segments. Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the industrial food, service, and retail sectors;
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape;
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones;
- Create and manage an international sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture;
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Maintain sales forecasts for its product category;
- Support marketing efforts, including attending trade fairs in which the company participates
- Ensure good communication between sales, customer service and our manufacturing sites
- Monitor claims for damaged products
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 6-10 years of experience in industrial ingredient sales, FOOD ingredients is mandatory
- Must be fluent Spanish & English
- Must be able to travel 50%, mostly to Mexico
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a global market
- Strong understanding of international market (Mexico, Central America, U.S., Caribbean) dynamics and business practices
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Organizational skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to manage schedules and priorities
- Solid foundation with Excel and Microsoft word
