TrueCar, Inc. seeks Senior Product Analyst in Santa Monica, CA 60401

Job Duties: Identify Opportunities: TrueCar strives to make our products the best in the market. Your insights and passion for data will help drive improvements by being the voice of the data; through running A/B/n and multivariate tests, deep-dive studies, and ad-hoc analysis. Actionable Recommendations: You will not just be uncovering insights for others. You will be an active participant in generating ideas and making recommendations for the products at TrueCar. Your knowledge of the car buying experience will supplement your analysis yielding actionable recommendations that are data-informed and actionable for TrueCar. Collaborative Partnerships: Analytics is only impactful through action and implementation. You will collaborate and partner with many functions across TrueCar. From working with the Business Intelligence team to help design new data pipelines and report automation, to working with cross-functional teams to develop analytics hooks to track product performance (both web tagging and product telemetry). Being part of an Analytics team: You will have the opportunity to utilize your passion for analytics along with your skills to guide and mentor other analysts on the team and teach other employees how to use tools and techniques you employ. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and expand your analytical skills, through challenging and exciting projects. Guide other analysts, and work with engineers, product owners to become a subject matter expert in all things related to online marketplaces and the data that drives them. Drive meaningful insights to help shape the future of TrueCar. Help build a data-informed culture at TrueCar by becoming familiar with the software used internally and guide other department members on how to use those tools. Transform business questions into complex and comprehensive analysis to aid decisions to grow/improve the business. Telecommuting permitted within the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics or a related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics or a related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related position.

Special Skill Requirements: Requires 2 years of experience in each of the following: SQL query writing; Data Visualization/Report/Dashboard development (i.e Tableau, PowerBI, etc.); Microsoft Office and G-suite tools; and, Ability to conduct analysis with an analytic tool (i.e Python, R, Advanced Excel).

Base Salary: Salary: $79, 394.00 - $105,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
