Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at our client place based at Lucknow. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's systems and networks, as well as proactively identifying and addressing potential security threats. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in cyber security. The job is located in Lucknow, India.

Qualifications and Skills :-

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cyber security
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC2 etc.
• Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide practical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Develop and implement effective cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's systems and networks
• Monitor and analyze security systems to detect and prevent security breaches
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses and risks
• Manage and respond to security incidents, including incident investigation, containment, and resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Educate and train employees on cyber security best practices and conduct security awareness programs
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners in implementing security controls and solutions
• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews of security controls and policies to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
