Job Overview

We are looking for a Visa Counsellor to join our team at New Image Immigration. As a Visa Counsellor, you will be responsible for assisting students in the visa application process and providing guidance on immigration laws and regulations. This is a full-time position based in Chandigarh, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in visa counselling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Should have knowledge of all types of Visa counselling i.e. Work Visa, Study Visa, Tourist Visa..
• 1 to 3 years of experience in visa counselling.
• In-depth knowledge of immigration laws and visa requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing visa applications.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Customer service-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in English and local languages.
• Familiarity with study abroad programs and educational institutions is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist students in the visa application process for studying abroad.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on immigration laws, visa requirements, and documentation.
• Conduct visa application reviews to ensure completeness and compliance with regulations.
• Assess students' eligibility for different visa programs and advise on the best options.
• Guide students in preparing supporting documents, such as financial statements and letters of recommendation.
• Collaborate with educational institutions and visa authorities to expedite the visa application process.
• Maintain student records and update the database with visa application statuses.
• Handle inquiries and resolve any visa-related issues or concerns.
• Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies.
• Ensure a smooth transition for students from the visa application phase to their departure for study abroad.
