We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our healthcare team in Mississippi and provide sporadic coverage. This assignment offers a flexible, long-term opportunity with weekly pay. 

Practice Setting:

• 16-bed Emergency Department
• Level 4 Trauma Center
• Patient population is primarily adults with some pediatrics
• Advanced Practice Provider support available for approximately 10-12 hours per day

Cases and Procedures:

• Bread and butter emergency medicine cases
• Providers should be comfortable managing a variety of emergency conditions

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM)
• Approximately 7-14 days per month. Shifts are often sporadic, but may include multiple consecutive days
  
  
  
  • No on-call responsibilities
  
  

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
  
  
  
  • Providers with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and extensive emergency medicine experience may be considered
  
  
• Active Mississippi medical license and DEA registration
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
• Minimum of 24 months of emergency medicine experience preferred
