Position: Databricks ArchitectLocation: Dallas, TX / Remote (Need basis travel required to client location)Duration: 6+ months Possibility of extension: Yes Expected # of hours/week- 40-45 Contract DescriptionDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data solutions on the Databricks platform, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with healthcare data requirements.Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning processes, utilizing automation tools and best practices in a DevOps environment.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and PHI security standards throughout the development and deployment of data solutions, including setting up secure data environments and managing access controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals, to integrate Databricks solutions into the broader data ecosystem.Monitor and troubleshoot the Databricks platform, proactively addressing issues and optimizing resource utilization to support data processing and analytics workloads. QualificationsAt least 4-5 years of experience in a Databricks platform development role, with a focus on infrastructure provisioning and DevOps methodologies.Proven knowledge of HIPAA and PHI-related security and compliance provisioning nuances, with a track record of implementing secure data solutions in a healthcare setting.A strong background in healthcare, with an understanding of healthcare data management, analytics, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages used for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
