As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of the company by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Bidding and estimating commercial construction projects
- Interacting with subcontractors and suppliers- Conducting meetings with clients and project managers to discuss job requirements
- Collaborating with project teams to develop strategies for successful project execution
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and contract documents
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using SAGE software (MUST-have experience)
- Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to determine project costs
- Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
- Maintain cost databases and update as needed
- Collaborate with team members to review and refine estimates
