TheShop Technician is responsible for assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of general equipment. The Shop Technician will operate required tools for the disassembly and assembly of equipment and utilize various M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..) for the inspection of the equipment used in solid control. The Shop Technician will work 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. $17.00-$19.00 per hour.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild various types of equipment (pumps).
• Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures for assembly and disassembly.
• Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools.
• Ability to utilize all M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Must be reliable and accountable to complete work.

Requirements

• Ability to use and comprehend a variety of power hand tools and inspection tools.
• Ability to operate equipment including Front end loaders, Forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Must be able to read and write in English fluently.
• Must have manual dexterity. Control precision.
• Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Tools will be provided to perform the work.
